Hi Becky,

I've been following Keith's blogging so now I'm going to follow yours.

Your point about healthcare is right on the money. We don't need socialized medicine. It's been proven it doesn't work. Ask Canada too.

Why is it that everyone expects the government to fix everyone's problems? "Feed me, clothe me, get me a job, pay my bills, pay for my home...." Geez, what happened to God helps those who help themselves"? My opinion, too much greed going on today. People want all the fun stuff but not have to pay the consequences of their over spending. Then they run to the government for their own "bail out".

Gotta run, lunch time over. Hugs and kisses,,,, thinking of you every day. Hey, are you guys coming home for Thanksgiving by any chance?

Couldn't agree with you more, Becky! We have had several exchange students. The mother of our exchange student from Denmark was diagnosed with lymphoma shortly after his return home. Our Hungarian daughter's father is a cardiologist. Both countries have socialized medicine. Having heard their experiences and seen their hospitals first hand on visits, I am so happy to be an American. Granted, we need to somehow improve our system. But, it is so superior to other country's systems. It is especially sad to see our Hungarian cardiologist friend, who is an excellent physician, struggling to provide quality care in a realm of socialized medicine.
